Job Summary: As a Senior Java Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features while ensuring the overall performance, usability, and reliability of the applications.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain web applications using Java, JSP, Struts, and other related technologies.Implement interactive web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery UI.Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic.Optimize application performance to ensure a seamless user experience.Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.Troubleshoot and debug issues across multiple browsers and platforms.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in frontend development.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing knowledge and expertise.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.7+ years of professional experience in frontend development.Strong proficiency in Java, JSP, and Struts framework.Extensive experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Proficient in using AJAX for asynchronous web applications.Hands-on experience with jQuery UI for building interactive user interfaces.Solid understanding of the Document Object Model (DOM) and its manipulation.Familiarity with responsive web design principles and frameworks.Experience with version control systems such as Git.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.Knowledge of RESTful web services and APIs.Understanding of test-driven development (TDD) and unit testing frameworks.Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
