Moodle Developer

Job Title: Moodle DeveloperWork Location: RemoteContract positionDuties and Responsibilities:We are seeking an experienced Moodle developer with a strong background in customizing and configuring themes and plugins, as well as developing and managing course activities and resources. The role involves creating comprehensive courses, and combining pre-existing content with new material that needs to be developed.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with the Moodle platform, particularly in customization, content management, and user management. The ideal candidate should possess the necessary skills to understand requirements and deliver successful outcomes.

Qualifications and Special Skills:

Skills:Proficiency in Core PHP, Moodle, CSS, MySQL, HTML, JQuery, Javascript, and AjaxStrong understanding of LTI tools and multiple format content management

Academic Qualifications:A first-level university degree or diploma in any stream

Experience:Minimum of seven years of experience in a similar roleExtensive experience in web development, including PHP, HTML, Javascript/JQuery, and CSSProven experience in integrating plugins and writing new plugins to extend Moodle system core featuresExperience in data management and query building using MySQL and other RDBMSFamiliarity with XML data structures and Web servicesExpertise in customizing Moodle functionalities and developing custom themes for Moodle
