Android Engineer (Opportunity for Immediate Joiners):

Key Skills and Experience:

As a Senior Android Engineer, you will build new features that will reach thousands of customers and hundreds of thousands of end users, continuously improve the performance and user experience of our apps and help build a scalable architecture that will grow with the company. You will report to the Director of Mobile Engineering.

In this role, you will:

● Contribute daily to mobile applications that support thousands of customers and hundreds of thousands of users● Be given ownership of challenging problems working in a modern Android engineering environment● Work with a team of energetic and engaged engineers and engineering partners● Be valued for your input and contributions to technical and product decision making for mobile applications

If you’re right for this role, you have the following technical skills:

● 5+ years of Android Engineering experience● 3+ year of Kotlin experience● Have contributed to 3+ apps published on the Google Play store● Have contributed to at least one app with over 100,000 downloads● Knowledge and experience with Hilt and other primary Jetpack components●Comprehensive understanding of MVVM architecture as it applies to Android ● Please make sure to add roles and responsibilities for the projects you have worked on emphasizing on Kotlin, including at least one live project on Kotlin.

and the following professional skills:

● Ability to communicate your thought process in problem solving, verbally and over Slack● Have a mindset towards high quality output and attention to detail, being able to provide and receive feedback in code reviews● Work well in a remote, collaborative team environment● Maintain a high level of empathy for the customer experience● Possess an ability to follow through with tasks when assigned and communicate effectively when roadblocks occur.
