Position SummaryThis assignment can take between 3-6 months, we are flexible to adapt to your situation. You will work on an internship assignment within our Software Development team in an exciting stage because:You will be participating in all phases of the development process of our innovative products.Your responsibilities would encompass various aspects of web development and collaboration with cross-functional teams.You will work closely with a team of experts in the fields of IT and business leadership.You can expect to shape your career path by gaining experience in software development planning, designing, and development, as well as working with different tools and stacks.You will receive professional guidance from our leaders and your assigned team buddy to ensure a smooth onboarding and completion of your assignment.You will get global insight into various cutting-edge principles.Your contribution matters! What you’ll gain experience from:Participation in the full development life cycle, from design to deployment React/Python-based web applications.Implementing provided designs, wireframes, and mockups using React, Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Write clean, maintainable, and testable code. Refactor existing codebases to improve code quality, maintainability, and scalabilityCreate and maintain design systems or component libraries to ensure consistency in UI elements.Collaborate closely with designers to translate UI/UX designs into functional code, enhance the overall user experience of digital productsImplement smooth and intuitive interactions, animations, and transitions to improve user engagementPrototype and implement frontend user interfaces, components/assets for websites, web apps, and interactive web interfacesParticipate in team meetings or discussions to understand project requirements and provide technical insightsKeep up with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in both frontend and backend software development

What you’ll bring to the positionWe’re ideally looking for someone who meets the following criteria:Knowledge and experience in React and CSSA relevant academic background in IT, software engineering, or computer scienceKnowledge and experience in the area of agile/scrum development processes and experience using GITPassion for/interest in furthering knowledge in the Software Development and/or Innovation domainComfortable working both independently and in a teamGood proficiency in English (and/or Dutch) Interested?
