European Recruitment are working closely with an exciting blockchain company who are looking for a Senior Rust Developer to join their team.

Responsibilities as Senior Rust Developer:Maintain and improve services written in Rust which are part of the business-critical infrastructureResearch and prototype application of cutting edge blockchain technologiesReview and provide feedback on technical architecture across the companyParticipate in technical governance of OSS projects around NEAR ecosystemCommunication and collaboration with a fully distributed teamCollaborate with Ethereum and be active in the Ethereum engineering forums

Requirements:Senior Rust ExpertiseSoftware design, architecture and engineering skillsExperience with message based and event sourced architecturesProven track record of smart contract developmentPrevious experience in the blockchain industry, Layer 1Extreme ownership mentality, ability to take extreme ownership and full responsibility of tasks and projectsProfessionalism and quality in work ethicDesire to support and improve existing code

Desirable Experience:Previous experience with the NEAR ecosystem, e.g. nearcore codebaseExperience developing and auditing security-sensitive code- Familiarity with EVM / web3 ecosystem
