React Native Developer

Responsibilities

As a React Native Developer your workday will be split between the following:

Work with our Technical Lead (TL) and Project Manager (PM) to apply your technical expertise to deliver features and updates to themResearch libraries best suited for project implementationsIdentify the appropriate technical solutions and implement themParticipate in planning sessionsProvide time estimates for your workTake ownership on development of specific product featuresReview pull requestsPromote clean code and best practices within the team

Prior Experience

A minimum of 5 years working as a developer Advanced TypeScript and JavaScript knowledge are requiredHave developed modern JavaScript/TypeScript applications from scratchA minimum of 3 years working with React / React Native, out of which a minimum of 2 years working with React NativeA minimum of 1 year of experience with porting designs (e.g. Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) to functional applicationsA minimum of 1 year of recent experience working with APIs (REST, GraphQL etc)Experience with backend development, Node/NestJS is a big plusExperience with other mobile app development is a big plus (Android/iOS native, Flutter, Ionic etc)Have worked on building enterprise applications beforeFluent with Git (we are power users of Github)You have worked in a team with a formal planning methodology (Scrum or something similar)

What is the recruiting process?1. 15-30' discussion with HR2. 60' - 90' discussion with our Engineering Director and a technical Team Lead.3. In some cases, we might ask you to do a take-home test project, and have a follow up discussion, about designing and engineering a small system. The whole assignment should take less than 4h.
