Job Position: AWS Consultant/EngineerJob Location: EU, 100% RemoteYears of Experience: 05-07 yearsContract Duration: 01+ year

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide expert architectural guidance to support team demands, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions.Clarify requirements (functional and non-functional) and resolve dependencies across multiple projects.Utilize Scala with frameworks such as ZIO, Cats Effect, Monix, and Akka to develop and maintain cloud-based applications.Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.Manage Kafka and Amazon MSK (Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka).Oversee AWS services including S3 Buckets, ECS/EKS (EC2 & Fargate), Direct Connect, and Elastic Search.Support Kubernetes orchestration and management.Utilize DevOps tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, AWS Code Build, and TeamCity for continuous integration and deployment.Ensure efficient and automated build, test, and deployment processes.Assist in the transition and integration of projects from AWS to GCP, ensuring compatibility and optimization.Work closely with internal teams to gather requirements, address dependencies, and provide architectural solutions that align with project goals.Engage with stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on project objectives and deliverables.

ExperienceMinimum of 05 - 07 years of experience in cloud architecture and operations, preferably within the financial services sector.Extensive experience with Scala and its frameworks (ZIO, Cats Effect, Monix, Akka).Proven track record in managing AWS services and familiarity with GCP.

Skills

Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.Experience with Kafka, Amazon MSK, AWS S3 Buckets, ECS/EKS, DirectConnect, Elastic Search, and Kubernetes.Familiarity with DevOps tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild, and TeamCity.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve dependencies in a multi-project environment.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
