Software Developer

Role - Software Developer Location - Remote (United Kingdom) Salary - up to £40,000 (DOE) per annum + Career Development & Progression Plan Contract Type - Permanent

We are looking for a Software Developer, who will work as part of a team developing and improving bespoke in-house software solutions such as a CRM, automation programs and partner integrations. You shall provide technical application support to the IT Help Desk. In collaboration with the development team, you will deliver scalable software engineering solutions using the latest technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Leading and supporting others within the development teamPreparing functional and technical specification documentsEstimating realistic timescales for deliveries and communicating periodic updatesWorking with internal colleagues across different size projects Collaborating on projects around .NET application development, including web, services, and bots

Key Skills & Experience

Commercial ASP.NET web application development using C#, MVC, Bootstrap, jQuery, APIs, and SQL Server with a specific focus on CRM platforms and process improvement.Demonstratable experience of TSQLExperience working on internal development projects and demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholdersExperience of using version control systems such as BitbucketExperience of using work management tools such as Jira.Experience of developing and consuming APIs (Rest / SOAP)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Desired Skills

Experience integrating into Infor System21 ERPExperience of POS, retail, or e-commerce systems.Experience of Windows Server, investigation of computer events and IISExperience of Continuous Integration / Continuous DeploymentExperience of delivering training and documentation to support the deployment of a software product.
