Back End Developer

Company Description

Swipe Rides is a dynamic car marketplace app designed to revolutionize the way people buy and sell cars. Our platform offers a seamless, user-friendly experience that connects car buyers and sellers with just a swipe. Our front end is built using Flutter, and we are looking to enhance our back end using AWS or Firebase.

Role Description

We are seeking a full-time remote Back End Developer for Swipe Rides. The Back End Developer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with back-end web development and software development. This includes implementing and maintaining server-side applications, databases, and APIs, as well as integrating front-end development with back-end functionality. The Back End Developer will work closely with the development team to ensure efficient and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side applications and databases.- Design and implement RESTful APIs.- Integrate front-end applications built with Flutter with back-end services.- Collaborate with the development team to define and implement scalable solutions.- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.- Troubleshoot and debug applications.- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development.- Proficiency in server-side languages such as Node.js, Python, or Java.- Experience with AWS or Firebase for back-end services and deployment.- Strong understanding of database management systems (SQL and NoSQL).- Experience with API integration and development.- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).- Familiarity with front-end technologies and frameworks (especially Flutter).- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently and remotely.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
