A UX Developer and a UX Designer can have overlapping skills, but they are not exactly the same. Given the requirements mentioned, here’s how they differ and how they align with the specified needs:UX Designer:Primary Focus: Design and research.Key Responsibilities: Conducting user research and usability testing.Creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.Designing user interfaces and visual elements.Ensuring design consistency and usability.UX Developer:Primary Focus: Bridging design and development.Key Responsibilities: Implementing designs using front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.Collaborating closely with designers and back-end developers.Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.Creating interactive and responsive designs.Given Requirements:Dashboard Design Experience: This requirement can be met by both UX Designers and UX Developers, though UX Developers might have a stronger focus on the implementation of interactive elements in dashboards.BA Background (Business Analyst): This is more aligned with a role that involves understanding business needs and translating them into functional requirements. Analytics Background: This is an added advantage for either role, especially for creating data-driven designs and dashboards.Interpretation:Given the specific requirements, it seems the hiring manager is looking for someone who can:Design and implement complex dashboards (UX Developer role).Understand business requirements and user needs (BA background).Work with analytics and data visualization (both design and development aspects). Conclusion:In this context, a UX Developer seems to be the more appropriate title, given the emphasis on seniority, dashboard design, and the potential need for coding skills.
