Baer is looking for Senior Java Developer for a 3-month Federal Remote Project.

Title: Senior Java Developer

Location: Remote (Must be based in US)

Duration: 3 months

Rate: All-inclusive

Alignment: W2 or C2C (Vendors Not Permitted)

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain web application front ends using Angular JS. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure technical feasibility and high-quality user experiences. Develop back-end microservices using Java Spring Boot. Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them on Kubernetes clusters. Ensure application performance, security, and scalability. Work with Oracle databases to design, develop, and maintain database schemas. Write efficient SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation Develop Java programs to read/write data to Kafka (Confluent Kafka). Configure and manage Kafka Connectors to integrate various data sources and sinks. Ensure data integrity and seamless data flow between systems. Utilize JavaScript and related technologies to enhance front-end functionality. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.

Required Experience

Proficiency in Angular JS for front-end development. Extensive experience with Java Spring Boot for back-end development. Strong understanding of microservices architecture. Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes. Solid experience with Oracle databases and SQL. Expertise in developing and managing Kafka (Confluent Kafka) applications. Familiarity with configuring Kafka Connectors. Strong skills in both front-end (Angular, JavaScript) and back-end (Java Spring Boot, microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, Oracle, SQL) development. 5+ years of professional experience in Java development. Proven experience in developing scalable and efficient web applications.???????
