What are we looking for?As a Senior Java Developer, your role will be significant in building and maintaining the technical aspects of our projects. You will work in collaboration with the Product Owner, Technical Lead, and Frontend Developers, contributing significantly to the overall product development. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and optimising backend systems using technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and PostgreSQL. You will also lend your expertise to ensure the high standards of code quality and performance are consistently met. Your contributions will be vital in promoting seamless integration and functionality between the front-end and back-end development aspects of our ongoing projects.

What are you expected to do?Design, implement, and optimise back-end systems.Contribute to database design, tech stack choices, and code quality measures.Advise on possible improvements to the code base and development practices.

You’ll be a great fit if:You have 8+ years experience in software development with relevant technologies.You have expertise in Java 17+.You are proficient with Spring Boot.You are familiar with Kafka.You have experience with Hibernate.You understand OAuth 2.0 (Auth0).You possess strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.You have effective English communication skills, both written and verbal.You have a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

___________________What happens after you submit your application?The whole process takes around 4 weeks:There will be 3-4 interviews and a possible assessment from our client partner. You will undergo an initial interview, a culture interview, and 1-2 interviews with our cool client. This will run for about 1-2 weeks but we will let you know if we need to ramp it up. Be yourself and have fun.We will constantly communicate with you as to the development of your application. You can also directly communicate with us to ask us about the status of your application.If all goes well, we complete the reference check and provide other necessary requirements so we can offer you the job right away.
