Back-end Developer (Middleware)

About the Role:Ovyo is currently seeking a Back-end Developer (Middleware) with a solid background with NodeJS and React using TypeScript and middleware. This is a great opportunity to add continue to increase the impact we add across a range of internal and external projects.

You will have a background in software development having used NodeJS, React using TypeScript, experience with Frameworks like Express and Axios as well as experience with AWS.

Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of the project and where needed contribute directly by writing code, managing builds and performing other hands-on tasks.Design systems for scale and reuse.Source code management.Design solutions based on client needs that deliver the very best in business models and workflows.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to coding standards.Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting effective communication and knowledge sharing.

Required Experience: 3 plus years of experience within software development and middleware developmentExperience with Node.js and React using Typescript.Experience with frameworks Express, Axios, etc.Experience with AWS stack, S3 buckets, Cloudfront, Lambdas, CLI, etc.Experience with RedisDB.Experience with metric tools like New relic and Kibana
