Job Title: Rust Developer

Main Responsibilities and Duties:- Design and develop high-quality, efficient, and maintainable Rust code.- Work with various stakeholders to define and deliver new features and services.- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring application security.- Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve code issues, ensuring continuous system stability.- Uphold and enhance code quality through writing clean code and performing code reviews.- Participate actively in design discussions and contribute to the advancement of our development processes.- Keep abreast of the latest Rust updates and integrate new tools and techniques into the development workflow.- Collaborate with the DevOps team to facilitate seamless deployment and operation of Rust applications.

Required Qualifications:- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.- 4+ years of experience in Rust development or similar system-level programming roles.- Strong understanding of Rust's ownership model, memory management, and concurrency patterns.- Solid grasp of software engineering principles and system architecture.- Proficiency with Git or other version control systems.- Proficient in writing comprehensive unit and integration tests.

Desired or Preferred Skills and Knowledge:- Experience with C or C++ is strongly preferred.- Knowledge of asynchronous programming in Rust, including futures and async/await patterns.- Familiarity with WebAssembly (WASM) and related Rust tooling.- Exposure to blockchain development and smart contracts is a plus.- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and associated best practices.- Excellent documentation and clear communication skills.- Ability to thrive in both independent and collaborative work environments.

Tools Required:- Comfortable with Rust development tools such as Cargo, rustc, and Rustup.- Proficient in using Rust-specific debugging and performance profiling tools.- Experience with build and automation tools relevant to Rust development.- Familiar with database integration in Rust, including both SQL and NoSQL databases.- Comfort operating in a Unix/Linux environment.- Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.
