Honovee is looking for a Junior Software Developer to support our Federal Client. As part of the team, you will work as a part of a blended group comprised of government and contractor personnel. Responsibilities:

Formulates and defines system scope and objectives for assigned projects. Prepares detailed specifications for programs. Executes program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation. Participates in instructing, directing and checking the work of other systems analysts and programming personnel.

Qualifications:

Must be a U.S. Citizen or have a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for at least 3 years and be Federal Tax compliant Must have maximum of 2 year of software programming work experience and interested in working with third party code vendors and maintaining customized systems. Must have some knowledge and experience in C/C++ and Python programming skills with troubleshooting experience Bachelor's degree Active IRS MBI Ability to work quickly in an agile environment Has full technical knowledge and responsibility of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming. Understands the business or function for which application is designed.

Preferred:

Any experience with an image scanning solution with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology related to document processing Troubleshooting experience
