Job Description

The main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Write standards-compliant code including testing/debugging in both IOS and AndroidWorks with Visual and UX Designers to translate visual concepts into functional native application experiencesAbility to take graphic files and translate them into a functional experience on mobile platformsParticipate in the functional requirements definitions for new or modified applicationsWork closely with internal development and design teams to ensure flawless integration with back-end technology and a great user experienceMaintain continuous contact with all internal and external stakeholders through the project and after completion making sure features are delivered with high quality and on timeMay provide assistance, identification and technical analysis for incident troubleshootingPromote good coding practices within their team

Qualifications

A tertiary qualification in Computer Science or Information SystemsMin 4-5 years experience commercial experience (development role) including recent mobile application development experienceExperience within the retail or service industries in ecommerce is a plusSkills and experience:Has worked with creative teams, UI & UX to ensure there are no technical barriers to suggested designsSuperior and efficient react native, Typescript, CSS and Javascript skillsHave a good understanding in the use of JavaScript/TypeScript Libraries and Frameworks, such as react-native, redux and other related react-native librariesProficiency in writing maintainable Typescript codeUnderstanding of IOS and Android platforms, and their differences - along with the experience to develop and code accordinglySome experience with UI applications Figma, SketchA flexible and collaborative approach in fast-paced production environmentsAbility to provide thoughts and insights throughout the development process, and the ability to constructively contribute technical feedback to the team on various projectsExperience with E-Commerce applications a plus
