Duties and Responsibilities:Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.Work with external data sources and APIs.Perform unit testing to ensure code robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.Fix bugs and improve application performance.Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Requirements and Qualifications:BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.5-6 years of Android development experience.Published at least one original Android app.Proficient with the Android SDK.Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.Familiarity with third-party libraries and APIs.Solid understanding of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.Comprehensive knowledge of the full mobile development lifecycle.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Effective team player with good time-management skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Additional Information:Candidates with 5 years of experience will also be considered.Must be willing to commit to a 12-month contract.
