Part-time Mobile App Developer (EQUITY-PAID POSITION)

Blyss is seeking a talented and passionate full-stack developer/architect to join our team in creating a unique social meet-up application that schedules and facilitates city events for activity-goers. Help us unite people and foster meaningful connections with innovative solutions!

Position: Back-end or Full Stack Developer/Architect (Part-Time)

Location: Remote

Compensation: Currently, this position is paid with equity. Contract terms imply full-time employment when Blyss is funded.

Responsibilities:Collaborate with our cross-functional team to design, develop, and maintain our cutting-edge social media software.Implement intuitive and responsive user interfaces using JavaScript, React, and React Native.Build robust and scalable applications and APIs using modern programming languages (for back-end positions).Engage in the full development cycle, from ideation and prototyping to deployment and maintenance.Ensure code quality, performance, and security through diligent testing and best practices.

Requirements:3+ years of relevant experience in the following languages, frameworks, and tools (e.g., JavaScript, React, React Native, VS Code, etc.).Fluency in database systems (Typescript, Node.js, MongoDB & AWS Software) and the ability to optimize queries and manage data effectively.Previous experience leading teams is highly preferred.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies is a plus.Excellent communication skills and a passion for staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
