IT Senior Web Developer

Position Summary:Reporting to the VP of Technology, the Sr Web Developer is an Exempt position responsible for developing and maintaining all Vital Incite web applications. This position will work closely with Product, Integration, internal and external IT teams to understand business requirements, participate in system architecture, document, design, develop and maintain all the web applications hosted by Vital Incite.Essential Responsibilities:· Senior full stack developer with extensive experience in designing, architecting and implementing the .Net web-based applications and Microsoft SQL Server technologies. · Demonstrated proficiency in development using Microsoft .Net technologies like C#, .Net framework, ASP.NET, entity framework for ADO.NET.· Extensive experience in .NET applications based on Object Oriented Programming (OOPS), Internet Technologies, Web based Client/Server, n-tier and service-oriented architecture. · Extensive experience in developing user interface.· Knowledge of DevOps, test automation, and CI/CD best practicesAbility to implement and consume SOAP or REST services.· Communicate progress, status, issues, and resolutions to various business units, management and Executive Leadership via verbal and written status reports.· Lead and/or coordinate resources in various phases of the software development life cycle, including specifications, development, QA, delivery and bug fixes.· Demonstrated ability to prioritize, delegate, and make decisions with minimal supervision.· Critical thinking skills to understand how to translate customer needs into technical decisions.· Participate in, lead, and help execute on the overall Technology Strategy, Plan, and product roadmap – doing so in collaboration, coordination, and communication with the rest of the company leadership team and appropriated resources.

Position Scope:· Supervisory Responsibilityo This position may provide consultative supervision of Vital Incite’s external IT resources.· Confidentialityo This position has access to highly confidential information, which will require exceptional confidentiality to protect the privacy of clients as well as Vital Incite’s intellectual property.· Independent Action and Judgemento Must be able to make decisions concerning responsibilities with regard to priority and be disciplined and organized in the efficient use of time. Writing efficient and complex queries.Hand-on experience managing and maintaining large web applications. 3+ years of experience in full stack development with front end and back end using c#o Working experience with SQL Querieso Working experience with SOAP or REST serviceso Understanding of healthcare domain with medical and pharmacy claim is a plus.· Skills:o Strong analytical and problem-solving skillso Strong communication skills, written and oralo 7+ years of hands-on technical development and operation experience o 3 years’ experience in leading and managing a team of developers that are geographically spread.o Works well both independently and as part of a teamo Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactiveo Can professionally and positively impact internal staff, as well as external team members. o Passion for Vital Incite’s mission and ongoing commitment to outstanding customer service
