ETL AWS Glue Developer

Role: Sr. ETL AWS Glue DeveloperLocation: Remote (requires onsite three times per year in Dallas, TX)Duration: 12+ Months

Must Haves:Advanced knowledge of AWS GlueAWS Glue ETLPythonAdvanced knowledge of PySparkAWS S3Working knowledge on AWS EventBridge Scheduler, SQS and LambdaAdvanced knowledge of Apache HudiAdvanced knowledge of Change Data Capture (CDC)Advanced knowledge of loading data from Apache Hudi to Amazon RedshiftSpark

Notes:Teradata to Redshift migration, almost done so no longer need to use Ab InitioIdeally looking for someone who has AWS Glue (Sr level), Hudi and CDC (Change Data Capture) How the team handles data: Java based services put data into their data lake. When they pull the data from the DL to Teradata they use Ab Initio. When they pull the data from the DL and put it into Redshift they use AWS Glue.

Keys to the interview:They will have a need for both Ab Initio and AWS Glue. Since you’re lacking Ab Initio, you will need to assure them you can learn it quickly. Also, they would want you to lead their Associate Developers and coach them on ETL.
