Tibco TDV/TDS Developer

I. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Data Integration and Virtualization:Design, develop, and maintain data virtualization solutions using TIBCO Data Virtualization (TDV).Integrate disparate data sources, ensuring seamless access and real-time data availability.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and create efficient data models.Performance Tuning and Optimization:Monitor and fine-tune TDV and TDS configurations for optimal performance.Identify bottlenecks, optimize queries, and enhance data processing efficiency.Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.Reporting:Create data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to support business decision-making.Optimize data pipelines for performance and accuracy.Collaboration and Documentation:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business users.Document data integration processes, data lineage, and best practices.Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:Investigate and resolve data-related issues, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.Debug and troubleshoot TDV and TDS components.Implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence of issues.Data Governance and Quality Assurance:Implement data governance policies, data lineage tracking, and metadata management.Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.Collaborate with data stewards to maintain high data quality standards.Continuous Learning and Innovation:Stay updated with TIBCO product releases, new features, and industry trends.Explore innovative ways to enhance data virtualization and data science capabilities.Facilitate the adoption of TDV and TDS within the organization.Conduct training sessions for end-users and promote best practices. II. SKILLS /COMPETENCIES(Top 3-7 most important/critical competencies needed for the job both soft and hard skills): TIBCO Products:Proficiency in TIBCO Data Virtualization (TDV) and TIBCO Data Science (TDS) tools.Experience with other TIBCO middleware components preferably.Data Integration and Modeling:Understanding of data integration techniques, ETL processes, and data modeling.Familiarity with SQL, XML, and data transformation languages.Visualization:Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Spotfire, Tableau, Power BI).Technical Troubleshooting:Skilled in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to TDV and TDS.Knowledge of debugging tools and log analysis. · Soft Skills:· Self-motivated to find use cases, biz value. · Logical approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting · Strong organizational and time management skills· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.· Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.· Ability to translate and communicate analytical findings into business value· Strong adherence to on time delivery III.
