We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer/Architect to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in development and architecture, with a particular focus on Java, Python, and AWS cloud services. Experience with API management, especially using Kong, is highly desirable.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable applications on the AWS cloud.Architect and implement robust, high-performance, and scalable Java-based applications.Utilize Python for scripting, automation, and integration tasks as needed.Oversee the development and management of APIs, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and efficient.Leverage Kong API management to pilot and manage APIs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.Continuously improve code quality, performance, and reliability through code reviews and best practices.Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum 10 years of professional experience in software development and architecture.Technical Skills:Proficient in Java and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).Strong knowledge of Python for scripting and integration tasks.Extensive experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).Hands-on experience with API management tools, preferably Kong.Architectural Skills:Demonstrated ability to design and architect complex, scalable, and secure applications.Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.Additional Skills:Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, etc.).Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
