Freelancer / B2B : WordPress Developer

About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Freelance WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and customizing WordPress themes and plugins, as well as a good understanding of front-end technologies. This role involves collaborating with our design and marketing teams to create and maintain high-quality WordPress websites.

Responsibilities:Develop and Customize WordPress Themes: Create, modify, and enhance WordPress themes to meet client specifications and design requirements.Plugin Development and Customization: Develop and customize WordPress plugins to extend the functionality of the website.Website Maintenance and Updates: Regularly update websites with new content, plugins, and security patches.Bug Fixing and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to WordPress functionality and performance.Optimize Website Performance: Implement best practices for website speed, performance, and SEO optimization.Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with designers, marketers, and project managers to ensure project goals are met.Ensure Security Best Practices: Implement security measures to protect websites from vulnerabilities and attacks.

Requirements:Proven Experience: Demonstrable experience in WordPress development with a portfolio of previous work.Technical Skills:Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.Experience with MySQL and database management.Familiarity with WordPress hooks, actions, and filters.Knowledge of responsive design principles.Tools and Platforms:Experience with version control systems such as Git.Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Beaver Builder.Soft Skills:Strong problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.Education: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Preferred Qualifications:Experience with e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce.Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js.Knowledge of web hosting environments and DNS management.
