SENIOR FRONT END DEVELOPER

Our client is a market disrupting start-up in the UK. They're building a cutting edge consumer platform and are in the process of expanding their product team. This fully remote position offers a pivotal role within the company and offers opportunities for growth with the direct support of the CTO.

RESPONSIBILITIESLeading the development of new product features using React and ReduxBringing thought leadership to the team with regards to web technologies and how they deliver the best user experience for their customersOptimising the company’s website for performance and usabilityEnsuring libraries and dependencies are kept up to date and that the team continues to use a modern tech stackWriting reusable, testable, efficient, and well-documented codeContribution to DevOps / Continuous Integration tools and processesWorking as part of an Agile/Scrum team and being familiar with Agile project tools like JIRA and Confluence

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSExcellent command of written and spoken English6+ years in Front-end software developmentExcellent Javascript and Typescript knowledge3+ years’ in React and Redux and ideally NextJsUnderstanding of RESTful principles and experience in consuming APIs..NET and creating backend APIs is a bonus but not mandatoryKnowledge of DevOps processes a bonus but not mandatoryExperience using noSQL (MongoDB) databasesUnderstanding of asynchronous programming, promises and observablesExperience with unit and e2e testing and frameworks
