Job Title: Mobile Lead Developer (iOS & Android) - Contract

Location: UK (On-site twice a month)

Contract Duration: 3 months (with extension)

Rate: £425 per day

Start Date: Immediate (June 2024)

About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mobile Lead Developer to join our team, working on a high-profile government project. This role is ideal for an experienced professional looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will lead the mobile development efforts, ensuring the delivery of robust, user-friendly mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms.

Key Responsibilities:Lead the mobile development team in designing, developing, and maintaining iOS and Android applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to define and implement new features.Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain cutting-edge.

Requirements:Proven experience as a Mobile Lead Developer or similar role.Extensive experience with iOS and Android development.Proficient in Swift and Kotlin programming languages.Strong understanding of mobile application architectures and best practices.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication and leadership skills.Must be based in the UK and able to travel on-site twice a month.

Desirable:Experience working on government or large-scale enterprise projects.Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
