Back End Developer

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer specializing in integrations and platform development to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a background working in a complex domain, and will have a proven track record of success. This role requires a deep understanding of backend technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure integrations with third-party systems and APIs to enable seamless data exchange and functionality.Develop and maintain internal platform services and APIs to support various product features and business requirements.Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure smooth integration of backend services with user-facing applications.Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Identify opportunities for performance optimization, scalability improvements, and system enhancements within the integration and platform infrastructure.Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure the reliability and availability of integration services and platform components.Experience with HL7/FHIR is a huge plus.

Requirements:Bachlor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldProven experience (8+ years) in backend development with expertise in building integrations and platform servicesProficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, MongoDB, SQL, noSQL, AWS (or other cloud providers like GCP or Azure)Strong problem solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an agile enviornmentExperience working in a complex domain, ideally U.S. HealthcareEnglish fluency required
