Responsibilities
As a lead developer, you will be responsible for the implementation of different types of functionalities described in design documentsManage sections of ongoing projects, help to manage individual teams, closely adhere to deadlinesCoordinate, plan and track tasks and activitiesHelp identify, escalate, resolve any technical issues and problems that might occurEnsure designs are in compliance with specifications and customer requirementsThe lead developer ensures that the Scrum team is capable of consuming stakeholder demand and delivers a versioned platformThe role demands skills in Agile team organization and delivery, database and coding skills plus the ability to maintain an ongoing discussion with the stakeholders and partners
Requirements
7+ years of hands-on software development experienceStrong Java SE/Java EE skillsSolid background in object-oriented programming and designExperience working in an Agile development environmentGood knowledge and understanding of algorithms and design patternsThe ideal candidate has wide knowledge of Spring, JMS, JPA, Maven, Unit testing and continuous build tools (Jenkins/Hudson), Design Patterns, UML, SQL, HTTP, XML, JUnitThe ideal candidate should have a broad understanding of various coding methodologies, testing practices, and tools and know when to apply each method to achieve the desired outcomesMust be able to provide support for their teamFluent English is a mustExcellent communication and program solving skills
