Job DescriptionWe are looking for experienced developers who are well versed in building out custom Shopify themes and modifying pre-existing themes. Our developers work closely with internal teammates to scope new functionality requests as well as support sales to scope new projects. The ideal candidate knows how to seamlessly flow between various projects, timelines, and internal and external stakeholder requests. We highly value effective communication and time management skills and our developers, in particular, are required to have a high level of attention to detail. This is a great opportunity for developers who are passionate about their craft and curious about emerging technologies.

Primary ResponsibilitiesActively work on the development, migrations, and technical implementations of Shopify projectsArchitect and deliver technical solutions for unique and diverse brands - balancing business requirements, goals, timelines, and technical implementationsScoping and estimation of projects - communicating solutions with clients and internal teams on a frequent and regular basisEvolve engineering best practices in service to rapid, high quality releases delivered to clients on time and on budgetProactively staying on top of emerging technologies and creating ways to implement into our processes as neededCollaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, project managers, account strategists, QA, and others on the development team

Qualifications5+ years of experience as a front-end developer3+ years experience with Shopify Plus custom theme developmentHigh level of familiarity and comfort with agile development processHigh level of familiarity and experience with git processes and workflowsProven success architecting, scoping, and delivering enterprise Shopify solutionsRecent experience working with Shopify’s various APIsExperience integrating custom app integrations including the creation of Shopify appsHigh sense of ownership and accountabilityWell-versed in modern engineering practices
