Sr. Front End Developer (5219)

As Sr. Front End Developer, you’ll work as part of an agile scrum team tasked with researching, developing, and delivering a modernized IT system with mobile application components and a cloud-based architecture. You will participate in all agile ceremonies, collaborate with the agile team, and provide guidance to technical leads and the Program Manager.

What you’ll do:

You will develop front-end code using React and React native for web applications and mobile applications.You will participate in all agile ceremonies, deliver code by established deadlines, and provide technical requirements and analysis to technical leads. You will work as part of a dynamic SecDevOps team.

What you’ll need to succeed:

You have the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS SuitabilityYou have at least 5+ years' experience as a front-end developer with excellent experience in React and React NativeYou have 5+ years' experience developing front-end for web and mobile applicationsYou have 5+ years' experiencing testing, debugging, and refining applications to deliver a new, modernized IT systemYou are able to analyze functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities - both for stand-alone applications and Apps.You can translate detailed design into application systems.You have experience preparing technical documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation.You have the ability to enhance applications to improve performance and add functionality.You are an excellent communicator with the ability to guide and provide technical direction to engineers to ensure program deadlines are met.You have experience with JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Ember or Backbone), Web application technologies, such as HTML5, JavaScript or CSS. Bootstrap for developing and integrating Web Services APIs and SDKs, Relational Database Development (MySQL, PostgreSQ, or similar databases). You have experience with JavaScript Libraries/Frameworks such as React.js, Angular.js, or Backbone or related.You have experience with API’s, one or more programming language/Framework such as Java, Python, Ruby, .NET., Node, etc., TDD / BDD, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing technologies such as RSpec, Cucumber, Jasmine, Protractor or related tools, automate cross browser testing with tools such as selenium
