Senior PHP Developer (Freelance)

Note: this is a freelance role. We are expecting at least 4 hours of working hours per day.

About you:

At least 5+ years of experience as a PHP DeveloperDevelop and maintain web applications using PHP 7+ and frameworks such as Laravel or Yii2.Design and implement efficient REST APIs to enhance application connectivity.Manage databases effectively with MySQL/PostgreSQL and integrate database operations into applications.Apply OOP and MVC design principles to ensure clean and manageable code architecture.Utilize Git for version control in collaborative project settings.Implement containerization with Docker to streamline development and deployment processes.Write and maintain well-documented, efficient test cases using testing frameworks like PHPUnit.Work with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JQuery to implement user-facing elements.Communicate fluently in English to collaborate with international teams and manage project requirements.

Nice to have:

Experience with AWS (S3, SQS, etc.).Working practice with 3rd party APIs and services (Google APIs, PayPal, Stripe etc.)Experience with VueExperience with ElasticSearchUnderstanding of SOLID, DRY, KISS, YAGNI principles

You will work with:

Participate actively in all phases of the project development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and deployment.Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing applications to ensure optimal functionality and user satisfaction.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify user requirements and integrate feedback into development processes.Develop and execute test cases to ensure software stability and performance before release.Document all development processes, code changes, and other technical procedures to maintain a clear understanding of application architectures and workflows.Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the development and post-deployment phases, maintaining a proactive approach to minimizing downtime.Continuously seek to improve application efficiency and user experience through code optimization and new feature development.
