Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a Python API Developer. The Python API Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining Python-based APIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions, and ensuring the performance and scalability of the APIs. The Python API Developer will also be involved in troubleshooting and debugging issues, as well as writing technical documentation.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Python programmingExperience with building and consuming RESTful APIsKnowledge of web frameworks such as Django or FlaskUnderstanding of database systems, such as PostgreSQL or MySQLExperience with version control systems, such as GitFamiliarity with software development methodologies and best practicesStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial:

Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or GCPKnowledge of API security principles and best practicesExperience with containerization technologies, such as DockerUnderstanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptExperience with Agile development methodologiesKnowledge of software testing and quality assurance processes
