Role Description

This is an internship remote role for a Mern Stack Developer. As a Mern Stack Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining Pixel Stitch's website and web application infrastructure using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js). The day-to-day tasks include but are not limited to building reusable components, improving website performance and scalability, fixing and debugging the codebase, and collaborating with the design team to ensure the quality and efficiency of the application. This internship will provide a great opportunity to gain in-depth experience with MERN stack development methodologies and skills, working on a production-level environment under the guidance and mentorship of senior engineers.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency with JavaScript, React JS, Node.js, MongoDB, Express.js, and front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and jQueryExperience in building REST APIs using Node.jsExperience with Git and code versioning toolsUnderstanding of serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda and server-side renderingAbility to write clean, modular, and testable code, and adhere to industry best practicesStrong analytical skills and attention to detailGood communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environmentBachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, or a related field or relevant work experiencePrevious experience with MERN stack development or e-commerce websites is a plus
