Qualifications:Must have senior level Go programming experience.Experience designing, developing, and optimizing backend systems with a focus on low-latency data processing.Understand large datasets, low latency moving data through a pipeline, data quality, and the different ways of moving data (binary, JSON, Parquet, etc.).Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, APIs.Knows how to deploy and operate in Kubernetes.Experience with Kafka preferred.Someone who has a sense of urgency, independent, can take ownership,Candidates coming from start-ups or highly thought of tech companies tend to stand out.
Responsibilities:Write reliable, high quality, performant, maintainable code.Contribute to all areas of the stack, from ingesting data from 3rd parties, to data processing pipelines, to domain services to external facing APIs.Collaborate daily with a small team of passionate engineers.Conduct timely code and PR reviews.Collaborate daily with Product leadership and other stakeholders to assure that requirements are met, and issues are handled in a timely manner.You will not only be responsible for creating cutting-edge software solutions but also for prioritizing customer care as a core element of your role.
