Detailed job description given below: Location: Preferred Oracle Office Location Experience: 10 to 20 years Type of Hire: Permanent Mandate Skills: Python, Perl/ Bash, Restful API, Virtualization, Automation, Code Versioning, Docker, Github, Ansible, Devops, Database Qualification: Strong background working in a linux based environment, including experience with installations, imaging, patching etc.Knowledge of network fundamentals such as VCN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routing, DHCP etc.Experience automating management of Linux based infrastructureExperience developing applications, and automating tasks using Python, Perl, bashExperience developing and/or consuming Restful API’sExperience deploying/managing applications in a cloud environmentUnderstanding of virtualization technologies: VMware, Xen, KVM, etcCloud services management, monitoring, troubleshooting and debugging experienceExperience with or interest in build automation, continuous integration, or continuous deployment tools (DevOps)Experience using code versioning systems: Git, SVN, MercurialDatabase management experience: MySQL, Postgres Responsibilities: Design, develop, and build workflow tools to facilitate automationWork collaboratively with other teams to define infrastructure and deployment requirementsDiagnose and troubleshoot systems/hardware and provide timely resolution Be part of the operations team and follow standard operating procedures to resolve issuesIdentify opportunities and propose solutions towards a stable and scalable ecosystemParticipate in and drive continuous improvement effortsSupport on call activities
