Substrate Developer

We seek a skilled and experienced Substrate Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Substrate Developer, you will be crucial in building and maintaining our blockchain infrastructure using the Substrate framework. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in blockchain development, specifically with Substrate, and a passion for creating innovative solutions in the AI and blockchain space.

Key Responsibilities:

Blockchain Development: Design, develop, and maintain blockchain components using the Substrate framework.Implement custom runtime modules and pallets to support Opticonomy’s unique features.Ensure the security, scalability, and efficiency of the blockchain network.

Integration and Optimization: Integrate blockchain components with other system elements, such as AI models and competition networks.Optimize blockchain performance for speed and scalability.Conduct regular code reviews and implement best practices for maintainability and performance.

Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with product managers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features.Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily/weekly stand-ups, and retrospectives.Create comprehensive documentation for blockchain components and APIs.

Innovation and Problem-Solving: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the Substrate and blockchain communities.Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance the functionality and user experience of the Opticonomy platform.Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly to ensure a smooth user experience.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.Minimum of 3 years of experience in blockchain development.Proficiency in Rust and experience with the Substrate framework.Strong understanding of blockchain concepts, including consensus algorithms and cryptography.Experience with decentralized applications (dApps) and related technologies.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts is a plus.
