Full Stack Mobile App Developer (Android)

Loupe is looking for a Full Stack Android Developer who wants to build world-class software and hone their craft.

As a Full Stack Android Developer at Loupe you will be part of a cross functional team of individuals who are passionate about developer experience and high quality software. You’ll be tasked with building software that you are proud of and that others will enjoy onboarding onto.

You will work on Loupe’s Android app which is built in Kotlin, utilizing an MVVM architecture and a UI built in Jetpack Compose. We take the developer experience seriously and promote a culture of automated testing, trunk based development, continuous delivery, feature toggles, and application monitoring.

While the focus will be Android development, you’ll have the opportunity to work on Loupe’s backend. Our desire is to build a cross-functional team of developers who work collaboratively across platforms. Working in the backend will help to effectively deliver value to our community of collectors as part of a small and nimble team.

Qualifications2+ years of experience with Android developmentExperience with Kotlin, Dagger, Jetpack Compose, MVVM, and automated testingAn Interest in backend development utilizing Golang, Typescript, Firebase, and PostgresA desire to explore new technologies such as Kotlin Multiplatform
