Job Description
We are seeking a .NET Developer to enhance our client's websites and web applications. This position will be full-time, remote, and is a contract position.

Understand and analyze the current VB.NET web applicationDevelop plans to rewrite and modernize the application using current .NET technologiesWrite clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages (C#)Test and deploy applications and systemsRevise, update, and debug codeImprove existing softwareDevelop technical interfaces, specifications, and architectureUse and adapt existing web applications for appsCreate and test software prototypesDevelop client displays and user interfacesAssist software personnel in handling project-related work and other requirementsCoordinate with other software professionals and developers
Required
What You’ll Need
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field5-7 years of experience as a .NET Developer or Application DeveloperFamiliarity with the .NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g., Model-View-Controller (MVC))Knowledge of at least one .NET language (e.g., C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)Understanding of Agile methodologiesStrong attention to detailExcellent troubleshooting and communication skillsKnowledge of REST and RPC APIsAbility to work independently and in team settings
Preferred
Experience in the Healthcare Payer sector
