On behalf of our partner OBI, we are looking for the best talent to join rindus. OBI is one of the largest multinational home improvement supplies retailing companies. This part of OBI is based in Cologne (Germany) and operates 645 stores in Europe, of which 349 are in Germany. You will work remotely on our partner’s project but you will be embedded into a local team from our office in Málaga (Spain).

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

You will be expected to maintain systems by monitoring, identifying and correcting software defectsAttend and contribute to relevant team meetings, planning sessions, reviews, retrospectives and circle meetingsWork alongside team members to ensure tasks are completed and goals metActively pursue learning opportunities to ensure up to date with relevant technology, methodology and processesMerging of different software in a common tech stack, adaptation and migrationCreation of new software from scratch bringing in your own ideas along the business strategyExpansion and maintenance of existing softwareExtension and construction of interfaces to Google, Amazon and other data service providersCross-team work and independent communication with specialists

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

You are deeply experienced in Java Spring BootYou are experienced in Microservice architecture and/or database architectureKnowledge of Git as well as CI/CDComfortable using Docker for services containerization in the different environmentsExperienced in Unit testing and JenkinsExperience in Monitoring with Grafana/Instana would be a plusNice to have are experiences building REST ApisKnowledge of Kafka is usefulCloud platform (AWS/Azure) experiences are welcomeHabituated to work in an agile environment, using agile methodologies like SCRUMGeneral understanding of Javascript frontends like Angular, Vue.js and backend like node.js nice to haveYou are fluent in English (written and spoken)

Would you like to develop and improve specialized web software in an existing ecosystem for the e-commerce sector? Our partner already has a large set of tools, based on a wide variety of backend and frontend technologies and would like to harmonize, partially merge and work with you to develop it.One of the main purposes of theses app is to provide the partner shop website SEO properties for different pages which helps Google bot to decide if a page should be indexed or not in google searches. Another purpose is to facilitate the SEO managers work by providing them research functionalities of the search phrases used by normal users in google.
