Power BI Developer - MS Power BI & DAX, SQL, Visual Studio - £500/day (Inside IR35) – Remote (with occasional trips to London office)

One of our leading clients is seeking an experienced Power BI Developer, with strong MS Power BI & DAX, to join them on a contract basis to assist with a major Digital Transformation project they are running.

You’ll join the team and help in building a high quality data platform and reporting capability, enabling the business to provide accurate and timely insights to their and their clients’ business.Power BI is their primary presentation layer, and the successful candidate will own the data visualisation space and drive best practice across the business.

As a driven, dynamic self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills, you will have the ability to build strong relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders and end users.

Key responsibilities of the role include: Planning, designing & implementing dynamic dashboards and visualisations to enhance and transform the use of data within the business.Analysing data models and datasets, drawing meaningful and actionable insights to drive informed decision-making.Capturing, translating & documenting business and technical requirements to produce relevant data models and business intelligence solutions.Validating & profiling data, performing ad-hoc data analysis and fulfilling client data requests by crafting SQL queries.

Key technical requirements: Strong experience delivering solutions with MS Power BI & DAX.Excellent experience with SQL for querying, analysis, and optimisation of data.Experience using Microsoft Development (ideally Visual Studio) tools to develop and manage database & BI projects.Understanding of best practices to deliver compelling data visualisations & reports.
