**Looking for someone with: - Heavy experience with managing Epic upgrades and RA post upgrades. Facility will be going through an upgrade during the project - Experience working within Epic modules (Cogito); Cogito certification preferred. - Epic Cogito project manager experience Years of Experience REQ: - Heavy experience with EPIC modules and EPIC updates - 8 years of exp in data modeling, report development, data reporting, or data analysis - 5 years SQL query development - 4 years certification in data visualization development using Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or similar software - 4 years exp working with health care data (PREFERRED) - 3 years Crystal Reports development (PREFERRED) - 2 years leadership exp through lead, coach, training, or management role (PREFERRED) Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Certs REQ: - Bachelor's Degree or 4 years' work related experience - Master's Degree in BA, Comp Sci, Informatics, or related discipline (PREFERRED) - Epic Clarity Data Model(s) certification (PREFERRED) Skills: - Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) - Exp in creating database objects (views, functions & stored procedures) - Proficient in Database and Data Warehouse Concepts (Relational Database, Data warehouse, Data Modeling) - Proficient in reporting tools (Business Objects, Microsoft Power BI, Crystal Reports, Microsoft SQL Server Stack, etc.) - Ability to read, write and speak English - Effective written & verbal communication skills, strong customer service skills, consistently & effectively address client needs, collaborate with customers & set expectations. - Contribute to technical discussions & strategic planning - Self-motivated - Ability to work independently under general guidance - Knowledge of continuous improvement practices and methodologies - Excellent critical thinking & problem-solving skills Job Summary: The Business Intelligence Developer Lead manages small projects, triages data requests, and distributes work among team members. The Leads participates in the development of department policies and data governance practices and promotes standard work among team members. The Business Intelligence Developer designs, develops, and maintains business intelligence solutions that promotes data driven decision making across the organization. The Developer works collaboratively with business and clinical stakeholders, business analysts, technical support teams and leadership to design and deploy analytic solutions that support operational, clinical, and financial performance improvement. The incumbent utilizes critical thinking, technical, analytical, and communication skills to create data models, subject area marts, reports, data visualizations, and self-service tools that meet customer needs. The Business Intelligence Developer Lead serves as the Epic Cogito Project Manager and maintains active relationships with the organization's enterprise data warehouse vendor to ensure success and coordination of analytics activities across these applications. Must take Epic's Clarity Data Model training and successfully gain initial certs - Epic training given upon hiring.
