What You’ll Do

Duck Creek’s products offers high configurability to the insurers and are designed for cloud native true SaaS architecture and have a complex architecture that spans multiple layers of code and functionality. All products are deployed on Azure cloud platform and use several Azure cloud services. We do end-to-end automated testing and automate the entire build to production deployment CI/CD processes. We are building future forward Duck Creek tools to help insurers to configure Duck Creek’s products and to help manage and control production and pre-production environments.

You will work on one or more Duck Creek’s products. An area of focus will be on the Duck Creek tools built on latest technologies which are going to be used for multiple products catering to the needs of configurators and business users. You will architect, design and code across multiple technologies, including development of test automation and CI/CD automation and post-production monitoring and troubleshooting. You will actively collaborate with engineers across multiple product teams.

What You’ve Done

We're looking for candidates with a degree in computer science or a related field and a minimum of 8 years of experience on Microsoft technology stack with a strong focus on Angular for at least 2 years. The ideal candidate should be a natural leader, be strongly opinionated about web based applications, Rest API based distributed application architectures and Cloud platform, and should have been in a similar role before.

Knowledge And Skills Required

Expert of .Net developer with strong skills in Angular, Typescript with a good understanding of reactive programming paradigm.Expert in distributed software patterns, such as DDD, microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectureExpert in Object-oriented design, .NET developmentExpert in CI/CD technologies to deliver software to customers with full automationExperience in Cloud platforms and cloud-native architectures, including ServerlessExperience with Azure cloud platform and its various servicesExperience with CQRS and event-driven architectureExperience building monitoring, alerting, and observability for maintaining high customer SLAs for SaaS delivered productsExcels in the ability to lead, teach, and guide modern software-development practices across Product Development, operating independently with guidance
