Job Title: WordPress Developer (Remote)

Position Overview:We are seeking a talented and experienced WordPress Developer with several years of experience with Divi to assist in revamping and updating our website. Many of our web pages are due for a refresh, and we need someone with a keen eye for design and a solid grasp of development principles to bring them to life.

Key Responsibilities:+ Work closely with our UX designer to translate designs into fully functional web pages using Divi.+ Update and maintain existing web pages, ensuring a seamless user experience across desktop and mobile platforms.+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and enhancements.+ Optimize webpages for performance and SEO best practices. Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our web presence.

Requirements:+ MUST BE FLUENT IN ENGLISH (non-negotiable).+ Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role with a strong portfolio of WordPress websites.+ Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.+ Extensive experience with Divi, including customization and theme development.+ Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first development.+ Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating polished, user-friendly interfaces.+ Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Bonus: Experience with PHP.+ Professional experience with WordPress plugin development, architecture, and standards.+ Advanced proficiency with PHP and MySQL, including modern PHP practices (OOP, autoloading, names pacing, traits, interfaces, etc).+ Strong familiarity with JavaScript (vanilla JS, jQuery, ES6, etc) Ability to use and extend build tools like gulp and webpack.+ Familiarity with package managers such as Composer and NPM.+ Experience working with third-party APIs (Eg Stripe, Drip, Zapier, etc).+ Competent with version control through Git and GitHub.+ The ability to iterate and ship ideas quickly.+ Exceptional troubleshooting skills.+ Ability to keep complex ideas and features simple. (Simplicity is a core value)+ Previous freelance or remote work experience is a huge plus.+ Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines.+ As a remote employee, must have stable Internet connection(s), and power backup (if necessary).+ A noise-free environment/microphone is a huge plus.

Years of Experience: 2-3 years of WordPress experience.

Benefits:Salary Range: BDT 45,000 to BDT 65,000 per month (depending on experience).Fully Remote Work: Enjoy the flexibility of working 100% remotely from anywhere in BD. 5 days a week (Monday to Friday). Full-time role, flexible timing.
