Qualifications

Expectations - the experience you need

BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related experience. 4+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer. 4+ years of experience with Java programming language including object-oriented design. 2+ years of experience with frontend technologies including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, React.js. Experience building scalable infrastructure, REST interfaces and distributed systems.

Nice to have

Open Source tech such as: Elastic search, Redis, MySQL. Experience with AWS technologies (EC2, DynamoDB) or equivalent. Understanding of Git, pull requests. Continuous integration tools such as Jenkins

What you will do:

Collaborating with the team making sure deliverables are delivered on time with high quality. Developing and unit testing high quality code to implement features. Testing peer features during the development process. Performing code reviews and improving code quality by applying solid design principles. Exhibiting end-to-end ownership of a feature/task/bug. Supporting the application in production.
