Senior Java Developer (Spring & German) Job

Our client develops a new generation of taxes products. They optimize their taxes processes by offering a cloud-bases solution. The focus of NTT team is refering to development of microservices and integration with the existing platform. With pre-filled information and reliable calculation services, we optimize and digitalize the taxes processes in Tax Consultant offices and in exchange with external partners and the tax authorities.

What You'll Be Doing

Development of microservices and integration with the existing platformDesign and implement a Java application using Spring Boot, ensuring seamless compatibility, scalability, and fault toleranceImplement data models, APIs, and microservices to integrate with existing systems and databases, enabling seamless data exchange and real-time updatesDevelop algorithms and implement forecasting models to predict production volumes based on historical data, market demand, and other relevant factorsCreate intuitive user interfaces to facilitate data input, visualization, and analysis, enabling production planners to make informed decisionsCollaborate with the testing team to ensure proper functionality, performance, and reliability of the application, conducting thorough unit and integration testingOptimize application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks, fine-tuning code, and implementing caching mechanisms where applicableDocument the development process, including design decisions, technical specifications, and user guides, to ensure knowledge transfer and facilitate future maintenance

What You'll Bring Along

A University degree or advanced diploma in a software engineering-related discipline, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent experienceAt least 5 years of experience on a similar position is requiredApplication development experience with JEE and Spring BootWorking experience with Microservice architectureWorking experience with Unit testing and test automationWorking experience with Maven or similar build toolsExperience with messaging technologies (RabbitMQ, Kafka)Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes or other containerization frameworksExperience with Shell Scripting and GitWorking experience with: Oracle, PostgreSQL, Mongo DBFamiliarity with build/deployment automationNice to have: Experience with Cloud based system Excellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishGood written and understanding skills in German
