OVERVIEW

The client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join an experienced Scrum Team consisting of a Product Owner, Scrum Master, Quality Assurance Analysts, Software Engineers, Front-end Developers, and Architects. The candidate will be responsible for hands-on development across multiple technology stacks, frameworks, and tools. The Senior Software Engineer will be working on web-based development initiatives, ensuring software development life cycle activities are consistent with the direction set by the Architects and/or generally accepted best practices. As part of a Scrum Team, the Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for participating in all team ceremonies and committing to a team-first attitude. The Senior Software Engineer will be part of a team of peers working on highly technical, enterprise initiatives initiated by Product Owners via a prioritized portfolio of features.

POSITION SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

Experience in oriented software development/design experience in web-based development for Enterprise level applications 5+ years’ experience in .Net, NetCore, C#, and Microsoft stack of technologies in web-based development CI/CD Front-end experience with HTML. CSS, React, and Nodejs are also desirableExperience with multi-tier system development Extensive experience with RESTful web servicesDemonstrable Agile experience using a recognized frameworkExperience with continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automation frameworksExperience breaking down complex, large Stories into thin slices of deliverable featuresDemonstrated strong logical and technical problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to learn and quickly comprehend new conceptsDemonstrated strong judgment and decision-making abilityCapable of rapidly assembling UI prototypes and constructively integrating feedbackDemonstrable knowledge of unit testing and integration testingExcellent written and oral communication skills
