Terraform Developer

We are a leading US business increasing its technology aptitude and starting on an avant-garde digital transformation, hence looking for an excellent Terraform developer to join our DevOps team.

 The engineer will be responsible for making sure the infrastructure is safe and qualified for its purpose. They will also have to work with developers and delivery teams and help them set the right vision and strategy.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code. ResponsibilitiesDevelop quality software and web applicationsAnalyze and maintain existing software applicationsDesign highly scalable, testable codeDiscover and fix programming bugsBuild a strong and high-quality DevOps applicationSet up secure windows, Linux, and container infrastructure to advance performanceImprove cloud platform for increased delivery speed and product flexibilityDevelop self-service infrastructure provisioning, delivery pipelines, log and monitoring servicesMonitor, fix, and improve infrastructure continuouslyTroubleshoot any operational issues related to the infrastructureCollaborate with internal teams and respective stakeholders to understand user requirements and implement technical solutions

QualificationsBachelor's/Master’s degree degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related fieldDevelopment experience with programming languagesSQL database or relational database skills4-6+ years of experience (//edit according to your requirements) as a cloud engineer with sound Knowledge of AWSExtended experience with IaC, PaC, automated single-click deployment, configuration management, production supportProficiency in cloud-based DevOps practices, specifically in Terraform, OpenShiftExpertise in containerization with Docker/Kubernetes and orchestration tools Ansible/ PuppetKnowledge of Shell scriptingSkilled in system-level architecture, like Linux or Windows
