About the roleIntegrated into our talented Engineering Team, you’ll work on creating a scalable and efficient product which consistently meets the needs of our clients. As part of our Evaluations Domain, you’ll work on collaborative topics such as designing new features & functionalities, implementation, development and even testing the application!

Trustpair’s scaling technical team works with the latest technologies, as a Cellular Organization, meaning we reshape and adapt to ensure our teams stay autonomous, independent and have impact on the decisions made.

What you'll do:Take the lead in creating innovative features, going beyond mere implementation by following best practices and maintaining exceptional code qualityEngage in every phase of the SDLC; contribute to the architecture, code development, and even oversee the launch of new releasesSupport critical services for our customers which ensures the security of their paymentsKeep a finger on the pulse of the technology landscape. Identify emerging technologies and industry trends, and be proactive in recommending relevant improvements to our existing stackChampion engineering excellence by fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Lead by example in practices such as code reviews, Test-Driven Development (TDD), pair programming, writing clean and maintainable code, etc

Must-Haves:5 years of experience in Ruby (Rails) back end developmentAbility to conceive the technical design of a complex product featureExperience on working on a rapidly growing product; knowledge of architectural models of large scale web applicationsExperience working in an Agile environment like Scrum or KanbanExperience in API development and knowledge of resilience, scalability and security constraintsFluent in EnglishDesire to work on longer term technical challenges & accomplish them
