Back End Developer

Job Description:Pimjo is seeking a Backend software engineer specializing in Node.js for a full-time remote/hybrid role. As a key member of our team, you will design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and scalable server-side code to support our platform and product offerings. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver new features, identify technical issues, and provide solutions, aligning with our product development and delivery schedule.

Responsibilities:Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient back-end systems (APIs and microservices) using Node.js and related technologies.Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.Scale, migrate, and maintain existing and upcoming product backends.Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in server-side development, database management, and related technologies.Guide and mentor junior team members.Report daily work progress.

Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of working experience as a backend developer, focusing on JavaScript/Node.js stack.Demonstrated expertise in JavaScript, Typescript, Express/Adonis/NestJS, and server-side architectures.Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, and MongoDB database design, migration, and management.Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Linux VPS.Working experience and clear understanding of DevOps and experience with CI/CD and GitHub Actions.Strong foundation and working experience with Next.js/React.js.Solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving.Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.Working experience with SaaS web applications.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.Exceptional work ethic and passion for software engineering.

Nice to Have:Working experience with generative AI projects.Solid experience with Docker and DevOps.Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.

Salary: 50,000–70,000 BDT/month (based on skill level)
