Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs. Testing and evaluating new programs. Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts.

Additional Job Details And Special Considerations

This Software Developer 3 contractor position is part of the WIC Applications team and will be working to design and implement programs supporting WIC s move from a EBT offline system to an EBT online system. This developer will work with the rest of the WIC IT Applications team and two vendors to deploy workarounds during this transition and move data between multiple systems. This position will perform Software Application Developer duties that will involve the following technical areas: Microsoft Azure, Data Factory, Data Lakehouse on Databricks, Microsoft SQL Server, and Power BI reports.

Familiarity with Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) in Microsoft Azure or other cloud hosting environments.Ability to design and develop of Power BI reports.Ability to work under stressful conditions with multiple projects and deadlines.

Required Skills:

8 Years of Required Work experience as a Software Engineer or Application Developer.

Preferred Skills:

5 Years of Preferred Experience developing in C# and Visual Studio.5 Years of Preferred Experience with SQL scripting, SQL syntax, SSIS, SSRS, and SQL programming in Microsoft SQL Server.3 Years of Preferred Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization.3 Years of Preferred Good teamwork skills, and ability to collaborate with other functional and technical staff on the project.3 Years of Preferred Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on cross-functional teams.1 Year of Preferred Experience working with Data Factory and Data Lakehouse on Databricks.
