About the roleWe are currently looking to expand our IT team with an exciting opportunity for an experienced software developer with expertise in Delphi programming and a passion for business transformation. You’ll work in a dynamic team that manages a range of applications with a focus on a Delphi backbone-built client relationship management system (CRM). This existing software requires a focused effort on upgrading the current codebase as well as building new features and managing bug requests. Currently the software is a Windows desktop Delphi/Microsoft SQL Server product with C# .NET APIs. We're on a mission to transform this to a modern cloud-first app, using Angular, .Net Core APIs and other current tech as required to achieve the result. RequirementsAt least 10 years of experience in developing applications - as this is a transformation role we're looking for the successful applicant to bring strength and depth in their software development. Experience with building Delphi apps, or willingness to work with an existing Delphi app with the goal to take it to a modern language, framework and architecture. Strong database skills using Microsoft SQL Server. Experience in Web API development using .NET core and/or desktop applications. Experience in Web development using MVC and/or a modern JavaScript framework such as Angular and/ or React. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to solve complex problems through software. Troubleshooting and debugging experience Able to work with minimal supervision. Self-motivated with good time management and communication skills.
